诗歌作为最优秀的文学艺术形式之一,饱含着人类丰富的思想与情感,能有效地提高读者的道德修养、文学素养、文化意识与阅读理解能力,是高职英语教学中课程思政的重要载体。然而,在高职英语课堂中,诗歌教学一直被广大师生所忽略,分析了经典英语诗歌在高职英语课堂的重要性及其对学生的教育意义。

As one of the most excellent literature artistic form,poetry is full of human's thought and emotion,and can effectively improve readers' ideological and ethical attainments，literary attainment,culture sense and reading comprehension.It is an important carrier for ideological and political education in higher vocational English teaching.However,in the higher vocational English classroom teaching,poetry has been ignored by the teachers and students.In this paper,the author analyzes the importance of English poetry teaching in higher vocational colleges,and discusses the educational significance of English poetry to the students of higher vocational colleges.
